Disneyland Teacups Salsa Move: Timing-Heavy Turn Concept
This lesson introduced a turn-heavy pattern nicknamed Disneyland Teacups because of its spinning sensation and directional flow.
It is fun, but timing-sensitive. If lead timing is late, the whole sequence collapses quickly. This is exactly the type of move that teaches dancers the difference between "knowing a pattern" and truly controlling momentum.
Workshop context from Amsterdam was also shared in the original post:
Best approach: train pathway accuracy first, then increase speed. Leads should keep signals early and compact, while follows should protect axis and spotting so the turns stay clean instead of dizzy.
